Shoppers’ Stroll & Holiday Parade

Friday & Saturday, November 26 & 27,  2021

Visit the Village of Clinton to kickoff the holiday season. We offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of the malls and an opportunity to Support Local and Shop Small Businesses within the historic Village of Clinton.  Enjoy a horse & wagon ride around the village. 

Friday, November 26th (Updated 11/18/21)

9 am - 6 pm: Pack the Pantry Bus parked along the Village Green 

Donate holiday food items, new blankets (fleece lap blankets or similar), and all non-perishable food items.  Bus donated by Hale Transportation

10 am: Stores Open
Non-profits - sign up below to set up on the village green.

12 - 4 pm: Horse & Wagon Rides - pick up/drop off in front of Alexander Hamilton Institute

Purchase tickets in front of the Alexander Hamilton Institute. $3 Adults, $1 Children under 12 and FREE for under 2. 

12 - 6 pm: Coldwell Banker Sexton

Selling Ken Iles' 60-year collection of Christmas decorations to benefit St. James

The parade starts at the corner of College Street & Chenango Avenue.  Come See Santa and Mrs. Claus in the parade. This will be their only appearance this year.

8 am: 5K Jingle Jog in Village of Clinton  
Join us in the 4th annual Clinton 5K Jingle Jog starting at 8 am at the corner of Williams/College Street.  Celebrate Small Business Saturday!  Support Local and Shop Small!

Stop down and check out the fire department's rich history in this community! Station #2 on Franklin Ave.

It’s time once again for the Annual Clinton Shoppers’ Stroll & Holiday Parade hosted by the Clinton Chamber of Commerce on Friday, November 26th and Saturday, November 27th 2021.  

The Shoppers’ Stroll – Non-profits ONLY have the opportunity to set on on the village green on Friday, November 26th and Saturday, November 27th, 2021.  Participants in the past have offered special sale items, holiday music, displays, refreshments and free samples.  Be creative!  It is your participation that makes this event such a special day for the community to kick off the holiday season.  Booth layout on the village green will be determined prior to the event day and based on the amount of snow on the green.  Please indicate if you will need electricity as there is very limited access and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps
  • Clinton Central School Foundation
  • Clinton Sports Boosters
  • Clinton Youth Foundation (Clinton Pool)
  • Kirkland Art Center
  • Kirkland Town Library – Friends of the Library Jewelry Sale
  • Oneida County History Center

Clinton High School Chamber Singers/Reading of  ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas/Tree Lighting – All invited to attend. Starting at 6 pm, the Clinton High School Chamber Singers will perform in the gazebo.  Reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas will follow the Chamber Singers, then the Tree Lighting

The Holiday Parade – All are invited to participate.  The parade will line up in the Clinton Central School Loop off Chenango Avenue starting at 6 pm for a 7 pm start time on Friday, November 26th.  Enter a float or march dressed for the holiday season.  You are welcome to pass out candy.
