Employment Opportunities:
Clinton Kirkland Improvement Corporation (CKIC)
Executive Director
The Clinton Kirkland Improvement Corporation (CKIC), a 501(c)3 organization focused on economic
development and enhancing the overall quality of life in the Village of Clinton and Town of Kirkland,
New York, is searching for an executive director. Working closely with a volunteer board of directors,
and in active collaboration with village, town, chamber, and other local officials, the executive director
will research, prepare, and administer grants that advance CKIC’s mission, and work to promote the
community to visitors and potential businesses and residents. This is an excellent opportunity for an
energetic, self-motivated, strategic-minded, community-focused individual to make an impact on a proud
and historic community seeking to capitalize on its recent selection for a $10 million Downtown
Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant from New York State. As the inaugural executive director, the
successful candidate will have considerable leeway in helping envision the organization’s influence in
shaping the community’s future. This is a part-time, approximately 20-hour-per-week position with the
goal of becoming full time. We envision the executive director working remotely but living locally to
facilitate interaction with the community. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and the
names of three references to Mike Debraggio, CKIC president, at mdebragg@hamilton.edu. Applications
will be considered until the position is filled. Additional information about CKIC and the full job
description can be found on the CKIC website.
