Pat Kelly Reception for Clinton Comets Youth Hockey - Location TBD

Friday, February 9th

7:00 pm: Clinton High School Boys Hockey versus Rome at the Clinton Arena

Saturday, February 10th

8:00 am - 12:00 pm: Alumni games at Sage Rink and Clinton Arena

2:30 pm: Keynote Program at Clinton School Auditorium featuring:

  • Stan Fischler, Emmy & Lester Patrick Award winner/MSG Commentator
  • Pat Kelly, Coach of Legendary Clinton Comets & Lester Patrick Award winner
  • Guy Hebert, Hamilton College & NHL Goalie/Anaheim Might Ducks Commentator

7:00 pm – Men's Hamilton College Hockey versus Connecticut at the Clinton Arena. Recognition of Clinton High School players who went on to play at Hamilton College

Sunday, February 11th

3:00 pm - Men's Hamilton College Hockey versus Tufts at Sage Rink (possible "Senior Night")

Weekend actitivies throughout the village, including exhibits at the Kirkland Art Center, Clinton Historical Society, Kirkland Town Library, Burke Library, Clinton Arena and Alteri's Restuarant.  

Albert Prettyman was the Hamilton College athletic director who iced over a tennis court in Clinton, NY to introduce the first ever hockey game in our area in February 1918. On February 8-11, 2018, we will be thanking Mr. Prettyman with a weekend long event to celebrate 100 years of Hockey!
